Installing Java

If Java is not on your computer, you will see a message letting you know to download it when you try to use any of the pieces of Manage Content. If Java is not already on your computer, you will need to download it in order to use the Manage Content functionality. Some users may need to contact their local support staff if they do not have administrative rights on their computers.

1. From the Manage Content page, click on the icon for any function. If Java is not on your computer, you will see the message below. Click OK.

   

2. When you access either the upload or download functionality, you will be presented with a link to access the Java installation.

   

Clicking the link opens a page where you can download the Java application. Download the file and run the installation program. When the installation has completed, you can return to the Manage Content page.
