System Settings

Settings on this page control several features for symplr Learning.

Client Business Info

Enter the basic information for your organization.

System Message Provides an area to set message that are displayed within symplr Learning Administrator and general error pages.
Data Display Preferences

Mask Social Security Numbers: Select this check box to hide learners' Social Security Numbers in symplr Learning Administrator and symplr Learning.

Mask Employee IDs: Select this check box to hide learners' employee ID numbers in symplr Learning Administrator and symplr Learning.

Mask Learner Passwords: Select this check box to hide learners' passwords in symplr Learning Administrator and symplr Learning.

System Audit Trails

Keep audit info for ... days: Specify the number of days to keep logged events in the audit trail.

View Audit Trail: Click View Audit Trail to view the current audit trail report.

The remaining options allow you to determine the activities tracked by audit trail logs.

Filter Settings

Use "Sticky Filters" in Learning Administrator: Check this option if you would like the system filters to default to the last criteria selected for a search in the symplr Learning Administrator.

Use "Sticky Filters" in symplr Learning: Check this option if you would like the symplr Learning filters to default to the last criteria the selected for a search in symplr Learning.

Use "Sticky Filters" in Reports: Check this option if you would like the Report and Available Learners filters in Net Reports to default to the last criteria selected for a search in Net Reports.

Retain Selected Learners in Report: Select this option if you would like the Selected Learners grid to retain the learners that were selected the last time a report was generated in Net Reports.

Completions and Enrollments Date Settings:

Last Used: Select if you would like the date for completions or enrollments to default to the last date entered by the user. This is similar to a "sticky filter".

Date: Select a date using the calendar tool. This date will be the default setting regardless of user selection.

Past/ Next: Select a number of months to serve as a fixed period. For Completions this period will from a point in the past to the present; for Enrollments this period will be from the present into the future.

Wait List Settings

Wait List Mode: Select whether you would like enrollment from the Wait List to occur automatically, or whether administrators manually manage the enrollment from the Wait list.

Honor Wait List __ before start of class: Select the minimum amount of time before a class begins that a Learner can be added to a class Wait List. The default setting is three hours.

Learners can Self Add to Wait List: Select this option to allow Learners to enroll themselves to the wait list through the symplr Learning Enroll In Class widget.

Ignore Prerequisite Conflicts: Check this option to have the system ignore instances where class prerequisites have not been met.

Ignore Scheduling Conflicts: Check this option to have the system ignore instances where a Wait Listed Learner's schedule contains conflicts.

Ignore Payment Required Conflicts: Check this option to have the system ignore instances where a Wait Listed Learner has not met payment requirements.

Reports Settings

Region: Type your organization's American Hospital Association region into the provided field.

Training Center: Type your organization's training center into the field provided.

Training Site: Type your organization's training site into the field provided.
