The latest version of symplr’s Compliance Series (v2.0) is now available. To avoid disrupting your regulatory training process and timeline, we do not automatically update organizations to the latest version.

Enhancements

Learning Activities. A new setting is available that limits the content displayed on the Learning Opportunities page, making it easier for learners to locate timely courses and classes. Courses are displayed if any of the following occur in the selected time frame:
- Curriculum created/edited
- Course created/edited
- Transcript attached
This new setting defaults to the past calendar year, and can be customized by visiting the Preferences page in the Admin area. (Ref# 602301)

The Skillsoft catalog of online content has been fully refreshed! This update delivers 691 new courses, including I-9 Compliance and HIPPA Privacy Essentials and the California Privacy Rights Act.

This catalog refresh also retires several courses, so please visit the Course Retirements page for more information. These retired courses can be mapped to new courses when replacements are available. Please refer to this FAQ for more information about managing retired courses.

New HTML Editor for Tests. HTML markup on Test Questions and Tests pages is now handled with the same HTML editor used in other areas of symplr Learning Administrator. With this update, end users can no longer type in their own HTML. Additionally, any script tags are removed prior to saving, and HTML controls have been removed from any existing questions containing an <iframe> or <embed> tag. Users needing to enclose audio or video elements to their testing materials should now use the <embed> tag, instead of the <audio> or <video> tag. (Ref# 324618)
