Adding Development Goals
Managers can create development goals for employees at any time. There's no limit to the number of development goals that can be assigned to an employee.
These steps take place from the Employee List page under the Employees area.
- Locate the desired employee from the list and click Add, from the Employee File column. This displays several options in a drop-down menu.
- Click the Development Goal option in the drop-down menu. The Add Goal page opens.
- Complete the form as necessary.
- When finished filling out the form, click the Save and Send button to send the development goal task to the employee for completion.
Clicking the Save button saves a draft of the goal and places the task in the manager's task list for completion at a later date.
Once the Save and Send button is selected, managers are only able to modify the Due Date for the goal.
