Role-based Dashboard views
The Dashboard offers role-based views for users. This means that users assigned to a certain role will have a different view of the Dashboard than users in other roles.
The areas of the Dashboard that are role-based are described below.
The Applicants area of the Dashboard displays a list of applicant status and a link for each that automatically launches a search based on the selected status. Each available user role displays a different set of statuses based on what the user role needs access to.
For the Recruiter role, there are three sections under the Applicants area:
- New and Active. Indicates all the applicants with a status of "New" and "Active", including any sub-groups of those statuses.
- Screening. Displays the number of screenings in each available status. This includes background checks, assessments, and reference checks.
- New Hires. This area shows the status of onboarding activities for applicants.
In addition to the status breakdown, the list displays those applicants in the "Sent to Manager" status that have been viewed and those that have not been viewed.
Announcements have a setting that determines which user role the announcement appears for. Multiple user roles can be selected for each announcement.
Example: If an announcement is made visible to the Recruiter role only, a user assigned to the Hiring Manager role does not see the announcement on their Dashboard.
