The Concept of Screening
The applicant screening process is an attempt by an employer to hire not only the most qualified applicant for a position, but to have some knowledge of the applicant's background, which can reveal what type of behavior or attitude might be brought to the job position.
Screening in symplr Recruiting refers to the collection and analysis of information relating to the applicant that goes above and beyond the usual data submitted for a job posting. Screenings assist with the evaluation of an applicant to determine if they are the right candidate for a particular opening at your organization.
Though most screening types are performed by third-party vendors, symplr Recruiting is able to integrate with many vendors and manage the request and collection of screening data from within the symplr Recruiting system.
