People

Though symplr Recruiting helps collect, evaluate, and hire candidates for your organization, it manages more than just direct applicants. It helps manage people in general: ones that have submitted applications, ones that have been selected for hire for an opening, and ones that are a potential fit in your organization, even if there's no current opening that matches their skillset.

That's why you'll notice that the Applicants tab from symplr Recruiting version 10 has been replaced with the People area in version 11. This new People area has sub-pages for managing candidates:

  • Applicants. These are candidates that have submitted an application for a job posting.
  • New Hires. These are applicants that have been selected for hire for an opening.
