Resending a Requisition for Approval

When a requisition is sent for approval, the current approver receives an email that contains a link providing access to review and approve the requisition. If an approver misplaces or deletes an approval email, you can manually resend a new one.

Note: Only requisitions in a state of "In Process" can be resent for approval.

These steps are taken from the Requisition Detail page. This action can also be taken from the main Requisitions page as a batch action.

  1. Select the Resend for Approval option from the Take Action drop-down list. A confirmation pop-up window opens stating an approval notification will be sent to the current approver for the requisition.
  2. Click the OK button.

Clicking the OK button in the confirmation pop-up window reloads the page, and a message displays stating the requisition(s) have been sent for approval.

An email is sent to the current approver that contains a link providing them access to review and approve the requisition(s).
