Getting Started

Before diving into symplr Learning, let's review some basic concepts about general system use to help you understand system workflows, navigation, and basic functionality.

• Concepts. What's the difference between a class and a course? What's a competency? What does it mean when a class has a prerequisite? All these and more are covered here.
• Interface basics. You can't learn if you don't know where to go to find and take a course. See how to move around symplr Learning and access the different areas available to you.
• Classic interface. We introduced a new interface in the Fall of 2016, but look here if your organization hasn't yet adopted the upgrade (hint: if you see lots of widgets, you haven't upgraded yet).
