Custom Lists

Custom lists are used for maintaining instructions, radio buttons, and drop-down lists throughout symplr Performance.

  • Competency Population. Competency Population lists determine organization's population served or age-specific options on competency checklists. Multiple lists can be added as needed.
  • Competency Rating. Rating lists determine your organization's rating scales on competency checklists. Multiple lists can be added as needed.
  • Competency Validation. Validation lists determine your organization's validation methods on competency checklists. Multiple lists can be added as needed.
  • Document Categories. Document Categories provide a means for cataloging reference documents attached to employee electronic folders. Only one list of categories is allowed, but the list may contain multiple categories as needed.
  • Eval Lists. Eval lists appear as radio buttons on appraisal/evaluations forms when evaluating employee performance. Multiple lists can be added as needed.
  • Feedback Lists. Feedback lists are used to customize sections on the feedback form.
  • Goal Lists. Goal lists are used to customize sections on the goal form.
  • Job Description Lists. Job description lists appear as drop-down lists on job description forms when they are being edited. These lists help standardize job description data entry.

    Job description lists are usually set up by your Account Manager during implementation. Multiple lists can be added as needed.

  • Merit Rating Lists. Merit rating lists are used to auto-calculate overall performance or merit increases based on the evaluation score/weight. One list can be added for each template in the system, provided the template is not inherited.

    Merit rating lists are usually set up by your Account Manager during implementation. It is recommended that you reach out to your Account Manager for assistance when working with merit rating lists.
