Development Plans Administration

Settings for Development Plans allows you to enable the feature and determine who is able to create and send new plans.

The settings page for Development Plans can be opened from the Feature Settings area of the Settings page under Admin. Clicking the Please click here link at the bottom of the section opens a new page with all applicable settings for Development Plans.

  • Enable development plans. Turns the Development Plans feature on for all users.
  • Allow managers to send plan to employee. Managers can create new plans and send them to employees for review.
  • Allow employees to create plan. Employees can create new development plans for themselves.
  • Allow users to add notes to. Enables or disables the ability for users to add their own notes to Development Plans, Development Opportunities, or Activities.

Development Plan Templates

Development Plan templates simplify the plan creation process by providing a quick way to populate new plans with pre-filled information. Development Opportunities and Activities can be added to templates, and these are automatically applied when using templates to create new plans.

Competencies

Development Plans allow you to customize the list of competencies that can be added as Development Opportunities in a plan.
