Job Description

The Job Description area in the navigation bar provides access to job descriptions and templates used to create them. Administrators can manage positions and their related job descriptions, templates used to create job descriptions, and special forms used to populate job descriptions.

Positions are added to symplr Performance from an HRIS feed, or by manually adding position information. Positions need to have a job description assigned to it before it can be published and used in symplr Performance.

The available pages under the Job Description area include:

  • Job Descriptions. This page lists all the available job descriptions in symplr Performance. This page allows you to locate and made any necessary updates to job descriptions.
  • Templates. Templates are used to build job descriptions.
  • Special Forms. Special forms are sections of generic and/or universally-applicable information that are included in templates and/or job description forms.
