Adding Candidates to Folders
When browsing candidates in other areas of symplr Talent Sourcing, you may notice the Add to Folder option present in the candidate options. Options exist to either add a single candidate or groups of selected candidates to a folder for quick and easy reference.
To send individual candidates to a folder group, complete the following steps:
- Select the checkbox to the left of the desired candidate's name.
- Selecting Add to Folder from the candidate options menu displays the Add Profile to Folder pop-up window.

Select the folder you want to add the candidate to, or create a new folder by entering a name in the space.
Note: When creating a new folder, clicking the Create New Folder button opens a new pop-up window where you can select a workflow for the new folder.

Select the stage of the workflow to assign the candidate using the Stage Name drop-down list.

Click Done.
Additionally, the search options contains the Add All to Folder and Add Selected to Folder options, which adds all the results on the page, or a group of selected candidates to a folder. To send a group of candidates to a folder, follow these steps from any page displaying a list of candidates:
- Select the checkboxes to the left of the names of the desired candidates.
- Selecting Add Selected to Folder from the candidate options menu displays the Add Profile to Folder pop-up window.

Select the folder you want to add the candidates to, or create a new folder by entering a name in the space.
Note: When creating a new folder, clicking the Create New Folder button opens a new pop-up window where you can select a workflow for the new folder.

Select the stage of the workflow to assign the candidates using the Stage Name drop-down list.

Click Done.
Using the Add All to Folder option lets you add a specific number of the candidates currently listed to a specified folder.
- Selecting Add All to Folder from the search options menu displays the Add Profile to Folder pop-up window.

The Candidates to Add (top ranked) option determines how many candidates on the current list you want to add. The default option is 25, but you can enter any number between 1 and 5,000.
Note: This feature selects and adds the specified number of candidates in order, starting from the top of the list. That means if you enter 10, then the first 10 candidates in the list are added to the folder.
