Posting a Job

Once a requisition has been approved, it can then be posted to career sites for potential applicants to review.

Posting a job to job boards so applicants can submit their information consists of completing the Job Posting form for an approved requisition.

There are two ways to reach the Job Posting form:

  • Create Requisition wizard. The final step of the Create Requisition wizard is Post Job. If you have the necessary permissions, you are able to access this form directly from the wizard and post the job.
  • Requisition Detail page. Every requisition has a Job Posting tab on its Requisition Detail page. This tab contains the job posting form (the same one you would find in the Create Requisition wizard). If you have the necessary permissions and the requisition has been approved, you can complete the job posting form and post the job from this Job Posting tab.

To post a job:

  1. Open the Job Posting form using one of the two methods described above.
  2. Complete the Job Posting form.
  3. When finished with the form, select Post Job.

Selecting Post Job saves the form and posts the job to the selected sites. A pop-up window displays stating that the job has been posted.

The status of the requisition is automatically updated to "Active - Posted".
