Assessment Surveys
Assessment surveys are the driving force behind symplr Staff Assessment, providing the lion’s share of candidate data used in the solution. Assessment surveys are designed to measure an individual’s personality, temperament, and performance competencies to see if they are a good match for the opportunity they seek.
An assessment survey consists of 114 questions that compare a candidate's personality to the preferred traits of people working in that specific role. After all the questions have been answered, the responses are compared to the benchmarks of each job family, and scores are given for each category. These scores serve as a good indicator of the candidate's behavioral fit for a position.
These surveys are most frequently conducted online. However, there is also a pencil and paper method of taking and scoring a survey, if that method is desired. In this format, the applicant will receive a sheet of paper with the survey questions and (like any good standardized test) will need to fill in the circle corresponding to their desired answer.
