Imports

You can create and manage import templates for HR records and transcripts and perform courseware imports from one of the Imports pages in symplr Learning.

The pages within the Imports area under Utilities deal with the main types of imports your administration will perform.

• HR & Transcript imports. These imports are managed through the use of templates, which enables you to import the same files many times without having to manipulate the data each time, as long as the file is consistently saved with the same name. The template ensures that the correct data will always appear in the correct format in the Learning Administrator.
• Course imports. Here you can upload any course content or question list items for assignment to learners as *.zip and *.xml files, and also any SCORM based courses.
• Manage Content. Enables you to handle the upload and download of all files to and from the symplr Learning folder, called Learnmod, through a specialized, java-based, Content Manager that contains functionality similar to that of the file manager on a PC.
