Navigation
The symplr Learning interface is organized over multiple pages. Navigate to these pages via the options located along the navigation bar at the top of pages.
The navigation bar is your main source for moving around symplr Learning and accessing features and functionality.
The navigation bar consists of the following options:
- My Folder.This tab is a menu containing options to manage your licenses, view learning opportunities, return to your To Do List page, and more.
- My Team. This tab is where managers may view course and class information on specific teams of learners under their management.
- Competency. This tab contains options to display the various Validate and Assign Competency pages, where you may check or assign your competencies and validations.
- Custom. Any custom links the administrators wish to add to the navigation bar appear in this drop-down menu. This tab is fully-customizable, including its title. That means it may be named something else on your system, but its functionality of providing users with specific links to other web pages remains constant.
- Reports. Here you'll be able to run any reports you may need, to see where you (or your learners) stand in the grand scheme of it all.
- Admin.Clicking this tab opens the admin menu and gives direct access to the different administrative functions. This option is only available users with the appropriate permissions associated with their role.
- User Menu. Contains options to edit your user profile or log out of the system.

Notifications. This icon contains any system or welcome messages.
- Help Menu. Contains a link to the online help system and the About option, which displays information about the current system build.
- Clicking the symplr Learning logo in the upper-left corner returns you to the home page and displays your To Do List.
Note: Depending on your user role and account privileges, some of these navigation options may not be present in your system.
Just above the list of activities are options to change the current view of your learning options. These views provide quick and easy access to pre-filtered lists of activities.
- To Do List. This is where you view and complete any of your actively-assigned eLearning courses, classes, and competency trainings. Learn more
- Completed List. Clicking this displays a list of any eLearning courses, classes, or competencies you have successfully completed. Learn more
- Learning Opportunities. This option displays all available courses and classes in which you may sign yourself up for. Learn more
The option you are currently viewing is highlighted in blue and displayed in the screen area underneath.
