Features

This list lays out a lot of what's possible in symplr Recruiting. Clicking a feature name takes you to its associated Help page, where more information is found.

Note: Not all of these features users are available to all users. Due to symplr Recruiting's role-based views, access to specific features depend on the permissions granted by the system administrator.

  • Dashboard. The Dashboard page is the starting point for accessing system information. It provides fast and easy access to the information you need to get your job done. Quickly access data regarding applicants, requisitions, your recent activity, hiring details, and more.
  • Onboarding. Using this feature lets you distribute important documents to hired applicants. Onboarding documents can be used to provide information to the applicant, such as benefits details and schedules. Other forms can be used to gather information from the applicant, like tax forms or emergency contact details. When forms are complete, they can be routed to the appropriate people for review and approval.
  • People. Manage your applicants and new hires in this section by reviewing applications, comparing applicants, and making your hiring decisions.
  • Insights. The Insights area provides access to all the analysis and system reporting tools used to view, query and extract specific data from symplr Recruiting. Each report offers numerous data filters, letting you manipulate results and reducing the time spent sifting through unnecessary records.
  • Requisitions. This is where requisitions are created, edited, and routed through the necessary approval cycles. Every job posting starts as a requisition in symplr Recruiting - there is no separate area used to find and manage job postings.
  • Screening. Screening in symplr Recruiting refers to the collection and analysis of information relating to the applicant that goes above and beyond the usual data submitted for a job posting. Screenings may include background checks, reference checks, and staff or leadership assessments. Screenings assist with the evaluation of an applicant to determine if they are the right candidate for a particular opening at your organization.
