Classes

In symplr Learning, class always refers to a live gathering of learners, taught in-person, in a classroom, at a specific time, by an instructor. A class is one particular instance of a live, instructor-led course that occurs on a regular, set schedule.

In order to take a class, you need to first find a class you wish to attend, register for the class to add it to your class list, and finally, attend the class at its scheduled time. You may also check (and print) your own schedule, or add completed classes to your personal records.

  • Dropping a class. Using this option removes yourself from a class's roster. You may re-enroll later if you need to- as long as there are still seats available.
  • Enrolling in a class. Register for important learning opportunities by enrolling in classes. You can also view vital details such as schedules, credits, tuition, and current enrollment numbers before signing up.
  • Manually adding a completed class. If you've completed a class listed in symplr Learning and it does not show up in your Completions list, you can manually add it to ensure you receive proper credit.
  • Purchasing a Class. Some classes must be purchased by yourself or by an administrator before you may enroll. This process is explained on this page.
  • Viewing classes. See a list of any classes you are enrolled in, which includes details like instructor, facility, room location, and more.
